What Are Functional Capacity Evaluations?
Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE’s) are a valuable tool in the worker’s compensation realm.
At STAR, we provide a comprehensive assessment to determine an injured worker’s physical ability to return to work at a particular level. An objective, easy-to-read report includes information regarding the worker’s job requirements and functional abilities to determine return-to-work potential. Our team of specially trained industrial specialists will travel to most STAR clinics to perform FCE’s in a convenient location. Our model of utilizing specialists from outside of the physical therapy clinic ensures an objective FCE outcome by reducing any previous treatment bias.
