Kathy Vaughn was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in Springfield, Tennessee, where she graduated from Springfield High School. She attended Volunteer State Community College and obtained her A.A.S. in 1996, after which she entered clinical practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Kathy graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2009, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations. As a lifelong learner, Kathy is working to obtain her Master’s in Healthcare Administration.
Before joining STAR, Kathy practiced in several outpatient locations in Middle Tennessee, where she developed an interest in treating patients with orthopedic and spine-related conditions. Kathy joined the STAR family in 1999 with the opening of the Springfield clinic, where she continued to pursue this interest. In 2003, Kathy joined STAR’s Marketing Team and has served as the Marketing Director for the northern clinical region since. She has been actively involved in new clinic openings, education, and building brand awareness in local communities. In 2022, Kathy became a Partner of STAR. She serves in the areas of Marketing, Development, and Leadership.
Kathy and her husband, Craig, have two fantastic daughters – Hayley and Olivia. They are currently enjoying their freedom as empty nesters. They enjoy traveling and spending time on their farm during their free time. Kathy enjoys reading, fitness, and all things home improvement. They attend Main Street Church of Christ in Springfield.
