Hal Henninger was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. After coming to Nashville, Tennessee, to earn a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at Vanderbilt University, Hal returned to his home state to complete his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in 1986.
In addition to being a Partner of STAR Physical Therapy, Hal also spent many years serving as a Clinic Director for STAR at our Franklin Clinic. Hal has over 25 years of outpatient physical therapy experience focused primarily on orthopedics and sports medicine. Today, Hal oversees STAR’s Human Resources department, Clinician Recruitment, and Risk Management.
Hal has been active in the community since serving as a board member for The Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also served on advisory boards for Brentwood Academy and the Volunteer State Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Hal loves spending his free time with his wife, children, and six grandchildren. Hal and his family attend Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee.
